Show content on a center screen
Loop your videos, your images, the live leaderboard and the challenge calendar on a TV or monitor in the center.
Display turns a center screen into an entertainment board: it loops your videos, your images, the live leaderboard and the challenge calendar. You build the loop in NEXUS; the screen only needs a browser and an address.
One center or several
Each center has its own loop. With several centers selected in the sidebar, the page shows the first one's loop; opening the page changes nothing, but your first change saves this loop for all the selected centers. To build the loop of a single center, select it alone.
Build the loop
Upload your media
Open Display. In Media library, click Upload and choose a file:
| Type | Formats | Maximum size |
|---|---|---|
| Video | MP4, MOV, WEBM | 200 MB |
| Image | JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF | 10 MB |
The IMPORTING bar follows the transfer. The media then appears in the Videos or Images tab.
Add items to the loop
- For a media item, click + Add under its thumbnail. It then shows ✓ In playlist.
- For the center's challenge leaderboard, click + Leaderboard block.
- For its challenge calendar, click + Calendar block.
Set the durations and the order
In Playlist, enter how long each item is shown, in seconds: 1 second at least. By default: 30 seconds for the leaderboard, 25 seconds for the calendar, 10 seconds for an image. A video is always played in full: its duration is set by the video.
To change the order, drag an item by its numbered handle.

There is no button to click: each change is saved on its own. Wait for ✓ SAVED at the top of the playlist. If it fails, a red message says so: "The playlist couldn't be saved".
Set up the screen
Get the center's address
At the bottom of the page, Display URLs per center gives one address per center. Click Copy, or Open to test it on your computer.
Open it on the screen
Enter this address in the browser of the TV or of the computer connected to the screen, then switch it to full screen.
Result
The screen plays the items of the loop in the chosen order, then starts again. The Real-time leaderboard and Challenges calendar blocks show the center's public leaderboard and calendar. See Show a public leaderboard.
Good to know
- No need to touch the screen after a change. It checks the loop every minute and applies the new version by itself.
- The screen recovers on its own after an outage. If the connection or Omnisim does not respond for a while, it keeps showing what it was displaying and tries again at the next check. A video that the screen's browser cannot play is skipped: the loop moves on to the next item.
- Videos are played without sound.
- The library is shared by your whole account, the loop is specific to each center. The library holds at most 10 videos and 10 images.
- A media item in the loop cannot be deleted. Remove it from the playlist first: its delete button then shows Remove from the playlist first. If it is used in another center's loop, the button is grayed out and its tooltip names these centers: "Used in the playlist of: …".
- The address is the screen's only key. Anyone who knows it sees the loop. Click Regenerate to change it: the old address stops working immediately, and each screen must receive the new one.
- The language of the leaderboard and calendar follows the language set in the screen's browser.
- An archived center shows "Display currently unavailable".
Play music
The NEXUS Playlist page is a music player, separate from the display playlist. It plays, in the browser where NEXUS is open, a library of tracks sorted by genre and provided by Omnisim. Choose a genre, then click a track. Connect this computer to the center's sound system to play the music.
Troubleshooting
| Message | Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| "File too large — limit 200 MB (file: … MB)" | The video exceeds 200 MB (10 MB for an image). | Compress the file then upload it again. |
| "Unsupported format (video: MP4, MOV, WEBM; image: JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF)" | The file is neither an MP4, MOV or WEBM video, nor a JPG, PNG, WEBP or GIF image. | Convert it to one of these formats. |
| "Limit reached: 10 videos at most per account. Delete one to import another." (or "10 images") | The library is full for this type. | Delete a media item you no longer use. |
| Delete button grayed out, tooltip "Used in the playlist of: …" | The media item is in the loop of the centers named. | Select these centers, remove the media item from their playlist, then delete it. |
| "This media is used in at least one center's playlist — remove it from those playlists before deleting it." | The media item was added to a loop in the meantime. | Remove it from the playlists concerned, then delete it. |
| "Each playlist item must last at least 1 second." | A duration is at 0. | Enter at least 1 second. |
| "A media item in the playlist is no longer in your library — remove it and try again." | A media item in the loop was deleted. | Remove it from the playlist. |
| "⚠ Different playlist on …" | The selected centers do not have the same loop. | Select a single center. See the warning at the top of this page. |
| "No content configured" on the screen | This center's loop is empty. | Add items in Display. |
| "Invalid or expired token" on the screen | The address was regenerated or copied incorrectly. | Copy the address again from Display URLs per center. |
| The screen does not show the latest version of the loop | The screen has not been able to reach Omnisim since your change: it keeps showing the old one. | Check its internet connection; it updates by itself when the connection returns. |
| "Display currently unavailable" | The center is archived, or the subscription is no longer active. | Unarchive the center, or check your subscription. See Manage your Omnisim billing. |
| The screen stays white or shows nothing | Some older TV browsers cannot open the page. | See A TV screen does not display the page. |
