Administrators and users: who sees what

The two types of NEXUS account, the four user roles, and what each one sees in the menu.

Each person who signs in to NEXUS has their own account. It is either administrator, with access to everything, or user, limited to certain centers and to a role. This choice is made at invitation time, and decides what the person sees and can do.

Among the administrators, only one is the owner. The owner can revoke anyone's access, transfer ownership, and receives the subscription emails. An administrator can act on users, but not on another administrator. Nobody can act on their own account.

A role can be adjusted person by person: at invitation time or later, Advanced permissions adds or removes specific rights. See Invite and manage your team.

Choose the centers displayed

At the top of the sidebar, the Centers block lists your centers. Click a center to add it to or remove it from the selection; All selects them all at once. Every NEXUS page covers the selected centers. At least one center always stays selected.

On a phone, the selection is made with the pill at the top of the screen, which only appears if you have several centers.

An archived center leaves the selection. Administrators find it in Settings › Organization.

A user only sees the entries their role opens to them. Your company menu, at the top of the sidebar, gives access to Profile, Settings, Billing, Installation (administrators only), Help, Language and Log out.

Good to know

  • 15 people at most per account, pending invitations included. A revoked access frees its seat.
  • The role is shown in your profile: Profile › Role. Only an administrator can change it.
