Set up game sessions
Choose automatic launch, the default session duration, what the player chooses themselves and the three difficulty levels offered at the simulator.
The Simulation tab sets how a session runs on your simulators: what starts on its own, how long a session lasts when no ticket sets it, what the player can choose, and what the Novice, Intermediate and Expert levels are worth. These settings apply to all the simulators of the selected centers.
Set up sessions
Open the tab
Select the center or centers in the sidebar, then open Settings › Simulation, Sessions sheet.
Choose the launch
In Launch, turn on Auto-launch session if you want the race to start without waiting for the player, then set the Delay before launch, in seconds (60 seconds by default). Auto-launch is turned off by default.
When on, a countdown is shown as soon as the simulator is unlocked; it does not restart from zero when the player moves through the menus. At zero, the simulator starts a timed lap (Hotlap) alone, at the Novice level, keeping the car and track already chosen and drawing at random whatever is missing. The weather is the simulator's default weather.
Set the durations
In Durations:
| Setting | What it sets | Default |
|---|---|---|
| Default session duration | The duration granted when the session does not come from a ticket: free access, unlock from NEXUS or by command QR code. | 10 minutes |
| Multiplayer wait time | The time given to the other drivers to join the grid. | 45 seconds |
A scanned ticket always brings its own duration: that of the product sold.
Choose the in-race apps
In In-race apps, turn the Session timer, the Lap progress and the Automatic return to track on or off. All three are on by default.
Choose what the player decides
In Left to the driver:
- Livery choice: the player chooses their car's livery. When off, the simulator assigns one. On by default.
- Weather choice: the player chooses from your weather presets. When off, the session is played with the simulator's default weather. See Choose the weather offered.
- Race time-of-day choice: the player chooses the time of day on track.
Set the race time
- If Race time-of-day choice is off, choose the Default race time, between 6 AM and 10 PM. 12 PM by default.
- If it is on, tick up to 4 Available times. With no time ticked, the default time is used.

The sheet's banner shows ✓ SAVED. Online simulators receive the settings within a few seconds; they apply to the next session.
Set the difficulty levels
At the simulator, the player chooses their level from Novice, Intermediate and Expert, the same three levels as in NEXUS. Each level has its own settings.
In Settings › Simulation, Difficulty sheet, choose the level to change at the top of the sheet.
Set its parameters:
| Block | Settings |
|---|---|
| Driving aids | Ideal line, Auto-blip, Auto-brake, Automatic gearbox, Automatic clutch, ABS, Traction control and Stability control (0 to 100%). |
| Wear and damage | Tyre blankets, Damage (0 to 100%), Fuel use and Tyre wear (0 to 5×). |
| Race | Opponents (1 to 17), AI level (70 to 100%), AI aggression, Laps (1 to 120), Starting position, Penalties, Jump-start penalty. |

The changes apply to any session started afterwards at this level. The other two levels do not change.
Good to know
- The AI level sets the opponents' difficulty: below 85%, they let a beginner pass.
- The Race block only concerns races against the AI. A timed lap alone has no opponents.
- In multiplayer, the host sets the duration: each guest simulator stops at the latest at the end of the host's time. See Start a multiplayer race.
- Several centers selected: a changed setting is written to all of them. A row marked "⚠ values differ across centers — editing will apply to all" warns you that the centers are not aligned.
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| The countdown does not appear at the simulator | Auto-launch session is off, or the simulator is locked. | Turn it on, then unlock the simulator. |
| ✕ NOT SAVED in the banner | The setting was not saved. | Make the change again; if the error persists, reload the page. |
