Set up your center
Create a center, set its country, time zone, languages and public theme, then archive or delete it when it is no longer used.
A center is a physical location: it holds its simulators, its prices, its booking page and its leaderboards. This page explains how to create one, set its language and its public appearance, and remove it cleanly when it closes.
Add a center
Open the list of centers
Open Settings › Organization, Centers section, then click New center.
Fill in the form
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| Center name | The name your customers see, for example Omnisim Paris. Required. |
| Country (optional) | The center's country. Once your Stripe account is connected, a new center automatically gets that account's country. |
| Time zone | Prefilled with your computer's time zone, marked Detected in the list. Check it: it sets the end day of dated tickets, the daily cap of passes and the time of alerts. |
| Supported languages | The languages offered on the simulator and the booking page. At least one; the first one chosen becomes the default language. The language of your interface is ticked automatically. |
| Logo thumbnail | Click the thumbnail to add a logo: PNG or JPG, 5 MB at most. An image that is too large is first reduced automatically. |
| Equipment types | Tick what this center will offer. |

Create
Click Create.

The center appears in the Centers list, with its logo, its name, and below it the identifier used in the address of its booking page. It is also offered in the center selector of the sidebar.
The time zone, the languages, their order and the default language are then set in Settings › Center (see below).
Set the country, time zone, languages and public theme
The settings of this tab apply to all the selected centers in the sidebar: the sheet's banner shows "Writes to … centers". Each change is saved immediately, with no button to press.
Open the tab
Select the center or centers in the sidebar, then open Settings › Center.
Choose the country and time zone
In Identity, choose the Country. It determines the currency and the VAT regime. Once your Stripe account is connected, the country can no longer be changed (unless it was never filled in: the first entry remains possible): the row shows a padlock and "The country can no longer be changed: the Stripe account is connected, and the currency and VAT regime depend on it."
Then choose the Time zone: type a city or a country to find it. It sets the end day of dated tickets, the daily cap of passes, the days of the NEXUS filters and the time of alerts.
Choose the languages
In Supported languages:
- + Add a language… adds a language; 13 languages are available.
- ↑ and ↓ change the order. This is the display order of the language selectors, on the booking page and at the simulator.
- ☆ makes the language the default language, marked DEFAULT. It is the language of the simulator when idle.
- ✕ removes a language. At least one always remains; removing the default language makes the first remaining one the default.
captures/en/parametres/centre-languesCenter tab, list of supported languages with French marked DEFAULT and the sorting arrowsChoose the public theme
In PUBLIC THEME, choose the Theme (◑ Dark or ◐ Light), the Primary color and the Secondary color. This theme styles IGNITION, the center's leaderboard, calendar and booking page. See Apply your logo and colors.
The Menu volume slider in the same block sets the volume of the menu music on the simulators (80% by default). See Customize the simulators' screensaver.

The sheet's banner shows ✓ SAVED. Online simulators receive the theme within a few seconds; the languages and the country at their next sync: within 5 minutes, or at the simulator's next lock. On returning to the screensaver, each simulator switches back to the center's default language.
Rename a center or change its logo
In Settings › Organization › Centers, click the center's Edit pencil. Change the Center name, the Country (optional), the logo or the Equipment types, then click Save. Once your Stripe account is connected, the country can no longer be changed, unless it was still empty.
Renaming a center changes the address of its booking page, its calendar and its leaderboard. The links you have already published or printed to the old address no longer work. The booking QR code shown on the simulators, however, updates by itself. NEXUS reminds you of this in the form as soon as you change the name, before saving.
Archive a center that is no longer used
Archiving is the normal way to remove a center that has had activity: nothing is erased, and it can be undone.
In Settings › Organization › Centers, click the center's Archive icon.
Read the warning, then click Archive. The confirmation quantifies the effect, for example: "The 4 simulators in this center will be taken out of service: no more scans and no more sessions. Their 4 licenses will be freed."
Result
The center moves to the … archived centers list, with the note "Archived on …". It disappears from the center selector and from every center choice in NEXUS. Its public pages (booking, calendar, leaderboard, display) close immediately. Its sessions, laps, QR codes and payments remain intact.
Its simulators go out of service: they show "Center closed — this simulator is no longer in service", reject any scan and no longer open sessions. Their licenses are freed, and NEXUS sends you no "offline" alert for them. The archived center's row recalls the effect, for example "4 simulators out of service · 4 licenses freed".
Archiving does not reduce your subscription: to pay for fewer seats, adjust your number of simulators in Billing. See Manage your Omnisim billing.
To put it back in service, click Unarchive in the list of archived centers. No confirmation is requested. The licenses of its simulators are reactivated up to the seats of your subscription; beyond that, NEXUS says so: "… simulators could not be reactivated: quota reached. Increase your number of simulators or deactivate another device."
Delete a center created by mistake
Deletion is only possible for an empty center: never used, with no simulator at all.
Click the center's Delete trash can.
Click Confirm. This action cannot be undone.
As soon as a center contains sessions, laps, QR codes, payments, orders, customers, simulators or challenges, deletion is refused: archive it instead.
Good to know
- Several centers selected, one action. A setting in Settings › Center changed with three centers selected is written to all three. When their values differ, the row says so: "⚠ values differ across centers — editing will apply to all".
- Two centers of the same account cannot have the same name.
- The time zone of the center sets the end time of date-based validities, the daily count of passes, the dates of challenges, the days of the dashboard and of the date filters, and the time of alerts. Changed with several centers selected, it is written to all of them. If the selected centers do not share the same time zone, NEXUS pages count days in the time of the first one, and say so: "Dates in … time".
