Result
The session appears in Products with the type Session. On your booking page,
it is listed under the Sessions tab: the duration in large type (30 min), the product name
below, the price on the right.
What the customer receives
An email with a QR code, which shows 1 session • 30 min and the end-of-validity date.
They present it to the simulator's reader. During the game, the simulator shows the time remaining.
Good to know
- The session is only deducted at the end of the game, never at scan time. If the player stops before the end, the remaining time is kept on their QR code: at the next scan, the simulator only grants them this remaining time.
- Re-scanning the QR code on the same simulator locks or unlocks it, without deducting anything.
- Enter a duration in whole minutes. See Troubleshooting.
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| On the simulator: "This QR code has already been used (no access left)." | The session has been played. | The customer must buy a new session. |
| On the simulator: "This QR code has no time left." just after purchase | The product's session duration is not a whole number of minutes. | Correct the product's Session duration (min), then issue a new QR code to the customer from QR Codes. |
| The session does not appear on the booking page | It is hidden, deactivated, outside its time slots, of the Company type, or its end date has passed. | Check the Visibility, Active, Avail. and Validity columns of Products. |
Other rejections at the simulator are explained in Understand a QR code rejection at the simulator.
